The Associate Director of Technology Operations is responsible for leading technology operations and the Project Management Office (PMO) to drive efficiency, innovation, and business alignment. This role ensures the smooth operation of enterprise technology systems, enhances cross-functional collaboration, and implements modern project delivery practices to accelerate business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Operations & Governance:
Oversee and enhance technology operations by fostering collaborative teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring security and compliance.
Develop and enforce technology governance frameworks, policies, and best practices aligned with industry standards.
Ensure operational resilience through proactive risk management, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Technology Application Support & Incident Management:
Establish and lead an effective technology application support function, ensuring high availability and performance of critical business applications.
Implement robust incident and problem management processes to minimize downtime and drive long-term stability.
Leverage automation and analytics to enhance monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution efficiency.
Project Management & Delivery:
Lead the PMO, implementing Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies to drive efficient and iterative project delivery.
Oversee end-to-end program execution by managing key deliverables, mitigating risks, and ensuring budget adherence.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, driving enhancements in project governance, execution, and business alignment.
Enable cross-functional collaboration between technology teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver strategic initiatives.
Leadership & Team Development:
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team across technology operations and project management disciplines.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centric service excellence.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with business priorities and long-term goals.
Vendor & Financial Management:
Optimize technology investments through strategic budget planning and cost management.
Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure quality service delivery and value optimization.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in technology operations and project management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Expertise in technology governance, enterprise systems, and service management.
Strong background in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and modern project execution methodologies.
Proven ability to drive digital transformation, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
