Job Description:
Financial Analysis and Insights
- Provide timely and accurate financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Analyze financial performance, including variances from budgets and forecasts, and provide insights into business drivers and trends.
- Develop and present financial models and scenario analyses to assess the financial impact of various business decisions.
Business Partnering
- Act as the primary financial liaison between the finance team and business units.
- Work closely with operational managers to understand their challenges and help them manage their financial performance.
- Translate financial data into actionable insights that can drive business growth and improve profitability.
- Provide support for business cases, new initiatives / partnership and strategic commercial decision support by offering a financial perspective.
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Support the annual budgeting process for assigned business units, ensuring that financial targets align with the company’s overall objectives.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure realistic budgeting and alignment with business goals.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor key financial metrics, such as revenue, costs, margins, and profitability, to track performance against targets.
- Produce regular financial reports and dashboards for business units and senior management.
- Highlight areas of concern and recommend actions to address variances or capitalize on opportunities.
Stakeholder Communication
- Present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Work with senior management to align financial strategies with business goals.
- Foster strong working relationships across different teams and departments.
